Plan to attend Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s annual Smart About Water Day, a free community event, featuring the projects and plans that contribute to the overall state of water in the Truckee Meadows. Talk with scientists and local water planning experts from TMWA, Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency, Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility, the Northern Nevada Water Planning Commission, Nevada Department Environmental Agency and other agencies. The day is designed for learning and fun in a setting where you are encouraged to bring your questions. Presentations are scheduled throughout the day, starting at 11 a.m. with The Water Year in Review by Bill Hauck, TMWA’s Water Supply Supervisor.
