The TRWQMP was developed by the Town and Placer County to provide both entities with a comprehensive water quality monitoring plan consisting of a fifteen year program that is intended to be implemented in three phases. The Town began implementation of Phase 1 during the 2010 water year (October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010) (WY 2010) by performing the rapid assessment methodology (RAM) to assess fine sediment distributions in stream channels, and community level discrete sampling, to assess the water quality of stormwater runoff from targeted community areas.
