The Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency has launched a Data Center Engagement effort to better understand the opportunities, impacts, and community perspectives surrounding data center development in the region. This page serves as a centralized hub for transparent access to the process, including background information, timelines, and ongoing updates. Throughout the engagement, TMRPA will gather input from stakeholders, partner organizations, and the public through surveys, interviews, and community conversations. The insights collected will inform a final set of recommendations for rules and regulations to address decision-making for data centers seeking to locate in our region.

Timeline of related events

This timeline provides a general overview of the Data Center Engagement effort, including outreach activities, stakeholder discussions, community engagement opportunities, and presentation of findings. The goal of this process is to support transparency, encourage participation, and provide a central location for ongoing updates and materials related to the effort. Timeline items may be adjusted as the project evolves and additional feedback is received.
