he Reno-Sparks Heat mapping project team is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our community’s temperature mapping campaign and the release of the campaign’s data and modeled temperature maps! This effort, covering nearly 200 square miles of our Truckee Meadows communities, was led by the Nevada State Climate Office at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with support from climate scientists at the Desert Research Institute (DRI).
