TMRPA

Welcome to the hub for regional planning information in the Truckee Meadows, Northern Nevada.

The Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency (TMRPA) is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Truckee Meadows Regional Plan. The Regional Plan addresses land use planning, natural resource management, and infrastructure and service provision within Washoe County, Nevada.

The agency implements the Regional Plan by ensuring that master plans of local governments and affected entities conform with the Regional Plan.

The TMRPA is comprised of the Regional Planning Governing Board (RPGB), the Regional Planning Commission (RPC), the Director of Regional Planning, and staff.

The Regional Planning Governing Board supports the 2010 U.S. Census effort in our region by funding the Washoe Counts - 2010 Complete Count Committee (WC2010). The WC2010 is charged with increasing the 2010 U.S. Census response rate in Washoe County and reaching hard to count populations. For more information go to: http://www.washoecounts.us/
